Describe the financial journey of Kashiram as a devotee of Sai Baba. How did his wealth fluctuate and why?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 0

Kashiram was a prosperous cloth merchant who was deeply devoted to Sai Baba. As detailed in Chapter 0, he initially served Maharaj with his wealth, vowing to provide money whenever needed and even placing his entire money bag before Baba. However, he developed a subtle pride about his ability to give. To correct this, Baba engineered a situation where Kashiram faced financial ruin. He had to borrow money just to fulfill Baba's constant demands for Dakshina, until even his credit ran out. The purpose of this entire Leela was to remove his pride. Once Kashiram was humbled and realized he did not have the power to give, his financial condition miraculously began to improve, and he became prosperous once again.
