Chapter 6 provides specific details about the finances of the festival at Siddha-Kavthe. An imperial decree, or 'Badshahi Sanad,' had arranged for 2,400 rupees to cover the expenses of two annual festivals. Balabuva's fee for performing the Kirtan was a part of this, amounting to 30 rupees. That year, due to the plague, the festival was cancelled and he missed this income. In stark contrast, after performing the Ram Navami festival in Shirdi, Sai Baba ensured he was compensated far more generously. He received an honorarium of over 150 rupees. As the text explicitly points out, Baba gave him five years' worth of his Kavthe income in a single festival, a significant and joyful financial blessing.
Describe the financial arrangement for the festival at Kavthe and compare it to what Balabuva Satarkar received in Shirdi.
