The start of the Chavadi procession was a grand affair filled with festive elements. According to Chapter 37, the area around the Masjid was brightly lit with many rows of lamps and torches. The path was adorned with arches and toranas (garlands) at the crossroads, while flags fluttered high in the sky. The horse Shyamakarna stood at the courtyard gate, resplendent in full decoration. As soon as Sai Baba started to move, musical instruments like horns and trumpets began to play, and the night was illuminated by fireworks, creating a joyous and celebratory atmosphere for all present.
