While returning from the Naur market, Kashiram was set upon by Bhil robbers. After the thieves took some of his belongings, they tried to seize a small bundle he was carrying. As Chapter 0 recounts, this bundle, containing sugar for ants, was very precious to him, so he resisted. In the ensuing struggle, Kashiram picked up a dropped sword and killed two of the thieves. However, a third thief struck him on the head with an axe from behind, rendering him unconscious. The thieves, thinking him dead, fled. Kashiram was not dead; he regained consciousness and, due to his immense faith, refused to go to a hospital, insisting instead, 'Take me to Shirdi.'
Describe the events of Kashiram's encounter with the Bhil robbers and its aftermath.
