Describe the events at Dev's Udyapan feast involving the three uninvited guests and Dev's reaction at the time.

πŸ“– Chapter 40

During the Udyapan feast, a Sanyasi who had appeared earlier returned exactly at noon with two other companions. As Chapter 40 describes, Dev seated all three for the meal, and they ate until they were thoroughly satisfied. Despite having personally served these three uninvited guests, the thought that one of them could be Sai Baba never occurred to Dev due to a "veil of Maya." His mind fixed on the idea that "He is some guest who has come to get a meal," and this delusion strengthened. Dev treated them with all due respect, completing the rituals of Uttaraposhan and offering sandalwood paste, flowers, and other pleasantries. Even so, after they left, a doubt remained in his mind, and he felt deeply disappointed, believing Baba had failed to keep His promise.
