Describe the emotional and spiritual transformation of Sapatnekar during his encounter with Sai Baba in the mosque.

πŸ“– Chapter 48

Sapatnekar underwent a profound transformation from deep despair to ecstatic faith. Initially, as explained in Chapter 48, he was scorched by the threefold afflictions and heartbroken by Baba's repeated rebukes of "Chal Hat." He was sleepless and distressed. The turning point came when he resolved to approach Baba alone and held His feet. The miracle of hearing his own life story narrated by Baba to a Dhangar woman turned his wonder into deep respect. This culminated in a moment of direct grace when Baba acknowledged his pain, promised him a new son, and blessed him. Hearing Baba's sweet words, Sapatnekar's eight-fold emotions (Ashtabhav) welled up, and he washed Baba's feet with his tears of joy, his doubt and sorrow completely replaced by love and faith.
