📖 Chapter 32

The court of Sai Baba in Shirdi was a magnet for a vast and diverse assembly of people from every station of life. Chapter 32 provides a rich description of these visitors. They included learned astrologers, wealthy kings, princes, yogis, householders, and renouncers. The sick came seeking health, and the healthy came for blessings. Also in attendance were those dedicated to spiritual practices like japa and austerities, as well as sannyasis and pilgrims. The crowd was enlivened by singers, dancers, Manbhav Garodis, and Gondhalis. The text specifically notes that even Maulvis, Jogis, Nanaks, and those with physical ailments like the blind and lame would rush to see the Almighty Sai, showcasing his universal appeal.
