After a dream inspired her pilgrimage, she and her husband stayed in Shirdi for two months. However, her vow to offer the food remained unfulfilled for fourteen days. On the fifteenth day, not wanting her long journey and vow to be in vain, she approached the masjid at noon with the khichdi. She found that Baba was already having His meal behind a curtain. Undeterred by protocol and not heeding anyone, she moved the curtain with her own hand and entered by her own authority to fulfill her heartfelt desire.
