According to the teachings in Chapter 50, the process of creation begins when the formless Brahman becomes qualified by Avidya (ignorance), thus receiving the name 'Sat' (Existence) and becoming expressible and 'graspable by the intellect'. From this expressible Brahman, a specific sequence unfolds. First, the Unmanifest (Avyakta) emerges. From the Unmanifest, the Great Principle (Mahat-tattva) comes forth, and within it, egoism is born. The five subtle elements (Tanmatras) arise within the ego, followed by the five great elements. Finally, from the womb of these five great elements, the entire world is born. This visible world is therefore described as the characteristic form of Avidya-Maya, the illusion of ignorance.
Describe the cosmological sequence of creation that begins with the 'expressible Brahman'.
