Describe the conversation between the Madrasi sannyasi and Swami Somdevji in Shirdi and its effect.

📖 Chapter 31

According to the narrative in Chapter 31, upon arriving in Shirdi, the sannyasi Vijayananda met Swami Somdevji of Haridwar. Vijayananda inquired about the journey to Mansarovar. Swami Somdevji described the path as being five hundred miles long, with heavy snowfall and frequent changes in language. He also warned that outsiders face significant hardship. As Chapter 31 recounts, hearing this discouraging news from the Swami's mouth had a negative effect on Vijayananda; he became dejected and his mind grew distressed and immersed in worry about his pilgrimage.
