Describe the conditions set by Kaka Mahajani's friend for visiting Shirdi and what happened to his resolve.

📖 Chapter 35

According to Chapter 35, Kaka Mahajani had a friend who was a great devotee of the formless and averse to idol worship. This friend agreed to visit Shirdi out of curiosity but only under two specific conditions: he would never bow his head to the saint, and he would not provide any Dakshina. Kaka agreed, and they set out for Shirdi. However, upon arriving at the mosque, the friend's firm resolve was completely shattered. When Sai Baba spoke to him in a voice that perfectly mirrored his deceased father's, the friend was so deeply moved and amazed that he "melted inside." In that moment, he forgot his previous convictions and spontaneously bowed his head at Baba's feet, breaking the first of his two conditions.
