Describe the compassionate interaction between Sai Baba and the gravely ill Ramchandra Patil.

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 42

When Ramchandra Dada Patil was suffering from an unbearable illness, he became dejected and weary of life. Chapter 42 recounts that in this state of despair, Baba's form suddenly appeared at his bedside at midnight. Patil, holding onto Baba's feet, pleaded to know when death would finally come. Baba, described as the "embodiment of compassion," lovingly told him not to worry, assuring him that the danger to his life had passed and his 'Hundi' (bill of exchange/life span) was secure. Instead of giving a date for Patil's death, Baba compassionately redirected the conversation to a prophecy about Tatya, thereby alleviating Patil's fear while demonstrating his divine omniscience.
