The bond between Maharaj and Tatya Ganpati Patil Kote was exceptionally close, resembling that of an uncle and nephew. As detailed in Chapter 0, Tatya affectionately called Maharaj 'Mama,' meaning maternal uncle. This deep connection was rooted in the service of Tatya's mother, Bayajabai, who fed Maharaj when others in the village considered him mad.
