Chapter 53 details several challenges in finalizing the book after Hemadpant's death. A major issue was the state of his manuscript. Annasaheb Hemadpant was very frugal and, to avoid waste, wrote the chapters on scraps of paper which were then given directly to the printer. His son, Gajanan, had to undertake great effort in researching these vast records. When the final chapter, also on scraps, was examined, the promised summary could not be found. As mentioned in Chapter 53, others, including Babasaheb Tarkhad, agreed a summary must be written and even announced a deadline, but the task remained unfulfilled, highlighting the difficulty of completing the author's work.
