The causal body of the soul, also known as the 'Unmanifest' (Avyakruta), is rooted in pure ignorance. As Chapter 50 explains, this state is caused by the Soul's own ignorance and is described as being neither with parts nor without parts. The removal of this causal body is synonymous with liberation, or Moksha. This liberation is not achieved through any means other than the direct knowledge of the unity between Brahman and the Soul. When this profound understanding occurs, ignorance is dispelled, and the soul abides in its own true form, which is the ultimate state of Moksha. Therefore, to attain liberation, one must first understand and then remove this fundamental ignorance.
Describe the 'causal body' of the soul and the path to its removal, which is known as liberation.
