Describe the act of complete surrender to the Guru as expressed in the prayers of Chapter 26.

📖 Chapter 26

Chapter 26 details a profound act of surrender to the Sadguru, Sai Baba. The author expresses this by praying to lay his ego at Baba's feet, declaring, "from now on, You look after Your own—there is no 'me-ness' left in me." This surrender is so total that the author asks Baba to take away his body-consciousness and to move him like a puppet according to His will. The prayer goes further, asking the Guru to become the "me-ness" itself and take on the experiences of pleasure and pain, thereby freeing the devotee from all worldly worries. As shown in Chapter 26, this complete submission is aimed at finding ultimate peace for the restless mind at the Guru's feet.
