Upon seeing Baba's form from a distance, his mind became full of emotion. The text states that Laxmichand became completely absorbed, forgetting all about his hunger and thirst, and 'attained the joy of his own self.' He then performed worship by washing Baba's lotus feet, offering a coconut, incense, and flowers. He became so engrossed in the experience that he was likened to a bee absorbed in a lotus, having attained the Guru's grace.
