Sai Baba treated Hindu and Muslim festivals with equal joy and participation. According to Chapter 7, during the Hindu festival of Ram Navami, he would have a cradle tied in the assembly hall and arrange for Katha and Kirtan. He also organized wrestling matches with prizes. On that very same night, he would give permission for the Muslim Sandal procession to take place with full ceremony.
