Describe Damu Anna's state of mind after his business idea was rejected by Baba, and what course of action he took next.

📖 Chapter 25

After receiving Sai Baba's discouraging reply, Damu Anna was extremely crestfallen. Chapter 25 explains that he felt the 'kingdom of the mind that he had built melted away on the spot.' He was filled with regret, believing he had caused his own harm by writing the letter and had, in his own words, 'kicked away the served plate.' However, the letter he received also contained a hint from Madhavrao suggesting a personal visit, stating, 'There is a difference between hearing and seeing; you should come here in person.' Holding onto a sliver of hope that Baba might still grant permission, Damu Anna decided to travel to Shirdi. Upon arriving, he sat near Baba and massaged his feet, but he lacked the courage to bring up the business proposal again.
