Describe Damu Anna's involvement in the Ram Navami festival in Shirdi. What was his specific contribution?

📖 Chapter 25

Damu Anna played a significant and consistent role in the annual Ram Navami festival in Shirdi. As detailed in Chapter 25, it was a long-standing tradition for two large new flags to be taken out in a procession through the village. One of these flags was provided by Damu Anna, while the other belonged to the Nimonkars. He upheld this vow with uninterrupted love and devotion for many years. The procession, which included musical instruments, would commence from the house of Kondaji the carpenter and proceed to the Masjid, where the long banners were ultimately tied to the structure. This regular, devotional act highlights his deep commitment to Sai Baba.
