Could you tell me the story behind the Sai Baba portrait that was shown to Dixit at Mirikar's house?

📖 Chapter 51

The portrait of Sai Baba revealed to Kakasaheb Dixit had a special history, as recounted in Chapter 51. This particular photograph was ardently worshipped by Megha, one of Baba's most devoted disciples, who regarded it with the same reverence as an idol of the three-eyed Lord Shankar. The glass covering the portrait had broken, so it was sent from Shirdi with Balasaheb Mirikar to be repaired in Ahmednagar. After the repairs were done, the portrait was kept covered in Mirikar's drawing room. It was unveiled to Dixit only after his travel plans to Shirdi with Madhavrao were finalized, as if it had been waiting specifically for him to see it.
