Kashiram was one of Maharaj's total devotees, alongside Appa and Mhalasapati. As described in Chapter 0, he served Maharaj with his body, mind, and wealth. His service was extensive; he took a vow to provide Maharaj with chillum, tobacco, and firewood for the Dhuni. He even stitched and gifted Maharaj a green kafni and cap, though Maharaj usually wore white. Furthermore, Kashiram would offer his entire money bag to Maharaj, showing the depth of his surrender and eagerness to serve his master.
