Could you provide a summary of the story of Damu Anna as told in the Shri Sai Satcharitra?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 25

The story of Damu Anna is presented as a testament to Sai's love and protective nature towards His followers. According to Chapter 25, Damu Anna was a wealthy Kasar, or bronze-smith, from Ahmednagar who was deeply devoted to Sai. A significant personal trial for him was that he had no children, despite having two wives. However, through Sai's grace, he was eventually blessed with sons. His devotion was also expressed through a long-standing vow to provide one of the two large flags for the annual Ram Navami festival procession in Shirdi, an act he performed with uninterrupted love and devotion for many years.
