Could you explain the analogy of the Ramphal and Sitaphal in the context of spiritual paths?

📖 Chapter 19

In Chapter 19, Baba uses the fruits Ramphal (Bullock's heart) and Sitaphal (Custard apple) to metaphorically compare the spiritual paths of Knowledge (Jnana) and Devotion (Bhakti). The Sitaphal represents the path of Devotion, which is characterized as bright, easy to access, juicy, and sweet, requiring little effort to enjoy. This makes it an invaluable path for most people. The Ramphal, on the other hand, represents the path of Knowledge. While its sweetness is considered superior, it is much more difficult to attain. It requires immense patience, as the fruit must ripen fully on the tree; otherwise, it becomes pungent. This analogy illustrates that while Jnana may be a higher path, Bhakti is a more practical and readily rewarding choice for many.
