The texts describe several of Maharaj's unusual and seemingly miraculous acts. A notable example from Chapter 0 involves a wooden plank he used for sleeping. Instead of placing it on the ground, he suspended it from the rafters of the Masjid using old, weak rags. Miraculously, these rags bore the weight of not just the plank but also Maharaj's body. He would sleep on this suspended plank with four lit lamps at its corners. Although many people gathered to witness this spectacle, no one ever saw him climbing onto or getting down from the plank. He eventually broke the plank to remove this source of distraction for the public.
