Could you describe the miracles Sai Baba performed when he first encountered Chand Patil?

Chapter 5 of the Shri Sai Satcharitra vividly describes the miracles Sai Baba performed upon meeting Chand Patil. The first was an act of clairvoyance; when Patil lamented his lost mare, Baba simply told him to search near the streams, where the animal was found immediately. This convinced Patil he had met an 'Avaliya' or saint. The subsequent miracles were even more astonishing and occurred while preparing a pipe. To light his chillum, Baba thrust a pair of tongs into the dry earth and pulled out a glowing ember. Then, needing water to wet the cloth for the chillum, he struck his short stick, or satka, on the ground, causing water to spring forth. These events left Chand Patil utterly stunned by the Fakir's divine power.
