Could you describe the grand procession of Sai Baba to the Chavadi as detailed in the sacred texts?

📖 Chapter 37

The procession to the Chavadi was a magnificent event filled with devotion and celebration. As explained in Chapter 37, the preparations began with arches and lit lamps near the Masjid. Sai Baba, after performing a ritual of extinguishing a flame with his hand, would begin the journey. He was accompanied by musical instruments like horns, trumpets, mridanga, and veena. Devotees walked in joyous rows, carrying banners and flags while chanting Baba's name. The procession was led by the decorated horse Shyamakarna, and key devotees like Tatya Patil, Mhalasapati, and Bapusaheb Jog had specific roles, such as holding Baba's hand or an umbrella over His head. The entire atmosphere was one of a blissful gathering, with the sky thundering with music and cries of victory for Sai.
