Could you describe the challenging living conditions Amir Shakkar faced in the Chavadi?

📖 Chapter 22

The Chavadi, where Amir Shakkar was instructed to stay, was in a dreadful state. Chapter 22 describes it as a very old, dilapidated building constructed by Malik Ambar. It was a place where lizards, scorpions, and other poisonous creatures lived freely. The conditions were unsanitary, with lepers staying there and dogs eating leftovers on the premises. The back part was filled with garbage and seventeen knee-deep holes. Compounding these issues were the physical elements: rain would come from above, the ground was constantly damp, and the whole place was a chaos of wind and cold, which was especially difficult for someone suffering from rheumatism.
