Certainly. During Dev's Udyapan ceremony detailed in Chapter 40, a Sanyasi, who had come earlier and was told to return, arrived exactly at twelve o'clock with two other companions. All three were seated and enjoyed a satisfying meal. Despite their uninvited status, Dev treated them with great respect and joy, completing all the traditional post-meal rituals. This included giving them fragrant water, mouth fresheners, sandalwood paste, flowers, betel leaves, and perfume. However, a 'veil of Maya' clouded Dev’s mind; even though he personally served these three guests, it did not occur to him at the time that this was Sai Baba fulfilling his promise to attend.
