Could you describe in detail the state of the Chavadi where Amir Shakkar was told to stay and how he still received Baba's darshan?

📖 Chapter 22

Chapter 22 paints a grim picture of the Chavadi where Amir Shakkar had to reside. It was an old, dilapidated building filled with garbage and seventeen knee-deep holes. The place was infested with lizards, house lizards, and poisonous scorpions, and it was so damp and exposed to the elements that it aggravated Amir's rheumatism. Despite being forbidden from going to the Masjid, his location was strategic. He had an easy vision of Baba every morning as He went for alms, every evening during His procession, and most intimately on the alternate days when Baba stayed in the Chavadi, separated only by a plank door.
