Bapusaheb Jog was specifically assigned by Sai Baba to conduct daily scripture readings in Sathe’s Wada for the benefit of all devotees. As described in Chapter 18, his routine was quite disciplined. Every day after his afternoon meal, Jog would first go to the Masjid to meet Baba, bow at His feet, receive Udi, and formally take permission to begin the reading. With Baba's blessing, he would then start the Parayana (sacred reading) with great joy, reading from either the Jnaneshwari or the Nath Bhagawat and providing explanations of the text's meaning for the listeners who gathered.
