Compare the devotional expressions of Laxmichand and the lady with the khichdi upon experiencing Baba's divinity.

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 28

Chapter 28 presents two distinct yet equally valid expressions of devotion. When Laxmichand realized Baba knew his thoughts, his reaction was one of humble surrender. He immediately folded his hands, pleaded for protection, and pledged his singular devotion to Baba's feet. His was a response of awe and supplication. In contrast, the lady with the khichdi expressed her devotion through assertive action. Driven by her vow from a dream, she did not wait for permission but boldly pushed past a curtain to make her offering. The text says she made her entry "by her own authority." While Laxmichand's devotion was expressed through reverent pleading, the lady's was shown through determined action, and Baba graciously accepted both.
