Chapter 42 mentions that Baba passed on Vijayadashami, but also that the time of departure was Ekadashi. How does the text explain this?

📖 Chapter 42

Chapter 42 addresses this apparent contradiction by detailing the specific timing. It clarifies that while the day was celebrated as Vijayadashami (Dussehra), the bell struck at twelve-thirty in the afternoon. At this moment, the lunar day (tithi) of Dashami was completed, and the Ekadashi tithi had just begun. The text notes that for the purpose of the festival, the tithi that is active at sunrise is considered the tithi for the entire day, which is why the day was Dussehra. However, as Chapter 42 points out, the actual astronomical tithi at the precise moment of Baba's departure was Ekadashi.
