Chapter 16 says a Sadguru is 'Aptakama' or desireless. How then does it explain Sai Baba's acceptance of offerings and service from his devotees?

πŸ“– Chapter 16

According to Chapter 16, a Sadguru is always 'Aptakama,' meaning one whose desires are already fulfilled. Therefore, a disciple cannot truly fulfill any need for Him. Instead, the Sadguru graciously accepts service to fulfill the disciple's own desire to serve, ultimately making the disciple desireless. The chapter explains that Baba accepts even a simple leaf or flower offered with genuine faith and love, but will turn away from anything offered with pride. Though He is an ocean of Truth, Consciousness, and Bliss beyond outward rituals, He enjoys them with satisfaction when they are performed with sincere faith.
