Can you tell me the story of Sai Baba and the wooden plank he used to sleep on?

πŸ“– Chapter 0

The story of the wooden plank is a fascinating account of Maharaj's leelas. Nanasaheb Dengle, concerned about Maharaj sleeping on the dusty ground of the dilapidated Masjid, brought a thick wooden plank for him. Instead of placing it on the ground, Maharaj hung it from the rafters using old rags and began sleeping on it. As detailed in the Introduction (Chapter 0), these rags seemed too weak to hold even the plank, yet they miraculously supported both the plank and Maharaj's body. To end the distraction of people gathering to watch, Maharaj eventually broke the plank.
