Can you tell me the story of Laxmichand and how Sai Baba fulfilled his desire for khaja?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 28

The story of Laxmichand, as narrated in Chapter 28 of the Shri Sai Satcharitra, is a beautiful illustration of Sai Baba's omniscience and compassion. While visiting Shirdi, Laxmichand developed a craving for a sweet called khaja after having a small piece. This desire lingered in his mind for days. Sensing this unspoken wish, Sai Baba instructed his devotees to bring him a 'plate full of khaja' as a food offering. Subsequently, two bowls of khaja were brought to the masjid. Baba then made sure that Laxmichand, who was very hungry, received the prasad. This experience of having his specific, unvoiced desire fulfilled so miraculously solidified Laxmichand's faith and devotion to Baba.
