Can you tell me the story of Kashiram's fight with robbers? Why was he so protective of a small bundle?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 0

The incident with the robbers is a dramatic event described in Chapter 0. While traveling, Kashiram was accosted by thieves who became interested in a small bundle he was carrying, thinking it contained treasure. In reality, it was just powdered sugar. This bundle was precious to Kashiram because a saint named Janakidas Baba had advised him to feed sugar to ants. He was determined not to let the thieves take it. In the ensuing conflict, Kashiram picked up a dropped sword and killed two attackers before being knocked unconscious by a blow from an axe. The thieves left him for dead, but he survived.
