Can you tell me the story of Kashiram's encounter with the thieves and how Maharaj was involved?

Kashiram was attacked by thieves who wanted a small bundle he was carrying. This bundle, containing only powdered sugar to feed ants as advised by a saint, was very dear to him. As detailed in Chapter 0, he fought back, killing two thieves before being struck with an axe and left unconscious. Simultaneously, in Shirdi, Maharaj became very agitated, shouting and swearing. Devotees present understood this as Maharaj spiritually intervening to protect a dear devotee from great danger. After regaining consciousness, Kashiram insisted on going to Shirdi, where he was treated by Madhavrao Deshpande on Maharaj's instructions and fully recovered by Maharaj's grace.
