Can you tell me the story of Damu Anna and explain how Sai Baba helped him with his personal struggles?

📖 Chapter 25

The story of Damu Anna, a well-to-do bronze-smith from Ahmednagar, is presented as an example of Sai's love for His devotees. Chapter 25 explains that when one-pointed faith is established, Sai wards off the misfortunes of that follower. Damu Anna was a devout follower who, despite having two wives, was childless. Through Sai Baba's blessings, this great suffering was removed, and he was blessed with sons. This story is told to show how the Guru-Mother is an 'Ocean of Mercy' and to demonstrate Sai's readiness to protect those devoted to His feet.
