A worldly man named Cholkar made a vow to visit Shirdi and, until he could fulfill it, he abstained from sugar, even drinking his tea without it. As described in Chapter 15, when he finally arrived in Shirdi, he had Baba's darshan, prostrated at his feet, and fulfilled his vow by distributing sugar. Later, while he was a guest at another devotee's home, Sai Baba specifically instructed the host, Jog, to give Cholkar "cups of tea, well-filled with sugar." This instruction amazed Cholkar and brought tears to his eyes, as it served as a clear sign that Baba was intimately aware of his secret, personal vow and the long period of his penance.
Can you tell me the story of Cholkar and his vow about sugar? I heard it's a good example of Baba's omniscience.
