Can you tell me the story of Boss Dharamsee and the grapes? I heard it was about how his doubts were cleared.

📖 Chapter 35

Certainly. The story of Boss Dharamsee, found in Chapter 35, is a powerful example of Sai Baba's omniscience and grace. Dharamsee arrived in Shirdi with a skeptical mind. When Kaka offered grapes with seeds to Baba, Baba began distributing them. Dharamsee, who disliked seeded grapes, was hesitant and internally questioned why a true saint would force something upon him that he didn't like. As detailed in Chapter 35, Baba, perceiving this thought, gave him even more grapes. When Dharamsee held them in his hand, troubled, Baba commanded him to 'Eat them up.' Upon obeying, Dharamsee was astonished to find the grapes were completely seedless. This personal miracle completely dissolved his ego and doubt, replacing them with love for Sai. He later confirmed with another devotee, Tarkhad, that his grapes still had seeds, highlighting that the miracle was specifically for him.
