Can you tell me the story behind the photograph of Sai Baba that was at Mirikar's house?

📖 Chapter 51

The photograph of Sai Baba at the Mirikar's residence had a special history, as explained in Chapter 51. This particular portrait was deeply cherished by Megha, a devoted disciple of Baba, who would worship it with great love, regarding it as the three-eyed Lord Shankar. The glass covering the photograph had broken, so it was sent from Shirdi to Ahmednagar with Balasaheb Mirikar for repairs. After being fixed, the portrait was kept covered with a cloth in Mirikar’s drawing room. The text poetically notes that it was "as if waiting for Dixit." Since Balasaheb was staying for the end of the horse show, he entrusted the repaired photo to Madhavrao to take back to Shirdi, further connecting the events of that day.
