Certainly. Kashiram, a cloth seller, was once returning from a market when he was ambushed by Bhil robbers. The robbers took some of his belongings but became focused on a small bundle he carried. When the thieves persisted, he found a dropped sword and killed two of them before being struck down by an axe. While this was happening, Maharaj in Shirdi became very agitated, shouting and swearing, which his followers understood as his method of protecting a devotee in grave danger.
