Can you tell me about the Yogi who visited Sai Baba with Nanasaheb Chandorkar in Chapter 23? What was he hoping to achieve?

📖 Chapter 23

The story from Chapter 23 recounts a visit from a practitioner of Yoga (Yogabhyasi) who was brought to the Masjid by Nanasaheb Chandorkar. This man was highly learned, having thoroughly studied the Yoga Shastras of Patanjali and others. Despite his knowledge, he was frustrated because he could not achieve Samadhi (intense meditation) for even a moment. Holding the firm belief that Sai Baba was a "King of Yogis," he came with the specific intent that if Baba showed him grace, his doubts would be cleared and he would surely achieve Samadhi. However, upon taking darshan, he saw Baba engaged in the very ordinary act of eating bread with onions.
