Can you tell me about the Yogi who visited Sai Baba in Shirdi hoping to achieve Samadhi?

📖 Chapter 23

Chapter 23 recounts the story of a practitioner of Yoga (Yogabhyasi) who came for Sai Baba's darshan accompanied by Nanasaheb Chandorkar. This yogi was well-versed in the Yoga Shastras of Patanjali but struggled to achieve Samadhi, a state of intense meditation, for even a moment. Believing that "Maharaj Sai is a King of Yogis," he hoped that Baba's grace would remove his doubts and allow him to finally achieve his goal. Upon arriving at the Masjid with this intent, the first thing he witnessed was Sai Baba casually eating bread (bhakar) with onions, a simple act that contrasted with his expectations of a great yogi.
