Chapter 36 of the Shri Sai Satcharitra recounts an incident involving two gentlemen from Goa who came for Sai Baba's darshan. Both men surrendered at his feet, but Baba's interaction with them was notably different. He specifically asked for a Dakshina, or monetary offering, of fifteen rupees from only one of the men, which that person gave joyfully. However, when the second gentleman offered thirty-five rupees of his own accord, Sai Baba immediately rejected the offering.
