Can you tell me about the devotee Kashiram and the incident he had with the thieves?

📖 Chapter 0

Kashiram was a devotee of Maharaj who experienced a dramatic encounter with thieves. He was attacked for a small bundle he carried, which the assailants thought was treasure but was actually powdered sugar for feeding ants, a practice advised by a saint named Janakidas Baba. As described in Chapter 0, Kashiram bravely defended himself with a dropped sword, killing two attackers before being struck by an axe and falling unconscious. The thieves left him for dead, but he survived. This same chapter recounts how, during the attack, Maharaj in Shirdi became very agitated, which onlookers understood as his way of protecting a dear devotee from grave danger.
