Bapusaheb Jog followed a disciplined daily routine for the scriptural readings assigned by Sai Baba. As described in Chapter 18, every day after his afternoon meal, Jog would go to Baba in the Masjid. He would first bow at Baba's feet, receive Udi, and formally take permission to commence the reading for the day. With Baba's blessing, he would then go to the Wada and begin the 'Parayana' with great joy.
