Can you tell me about Balabuva Satarkar and why he came to Shirdi for the Ram Navami festival?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 6

Balabuva Satarkar, a Haridas from Satara who was famously known as the 'Modern Tukaram', came to Shirdi to fulfill his desire for Sai Baba's darshan. As detailed in Chapter 6, he was originally scheduled to perform the Ram Navami Kirtan at Siddha-Kavthe, an annual service for which he had a grant. However, that year the festival was canceled because a plague, or 'Margi', struck the village. This unexpected turn of events, which meant his service to Rama was missed, provided the perfect opportunity for him to travel to Shirdi. His visit was facilitated by Kaka Mahajani and Dixit after receiving Sai Baba's direct approval.
