The family was exhausted and distressed. Having heard of the great saint Sai Maharaj in Shirdi, they decided to go there as a last resort. The reputation that preceded Baba was that if he applied Udi with his own hand, even incurable diseases would perish. Upon reaching Shirdi and pleading their case, the compassionate Sai Baba reassured them, told them to be worry-free, and gave them Udi to apply to the wound, showcasing Udi's role as a final, effective remedy.
